Nintendo Switch

It's a bit late, but yesterday, Nintendo finally announced the NX. Now going forward with the name "Nintendo Switch". It seems that the console is a handheld/console hybrid, which I personally think is a good move because in the past few years, Nintendo's strong suit has been handhelds and this new console will cater the those players.

The Nintendo Switch consists of a tablet where you insert the game which appears to be similar to the 3DS in style. Also comes with the Nintendo Switch Dock, which connects to the TV for play in your living room.

So, if you're playing a game in your living room and you need to quickly get up and go, just pick up the Nintendo Switch tablet from the dock and it instantly transfers to portable mode.

When on the go, the Nintendo Switch tablet has detachable Joy-Con controllers. Two players can each use one or you can add more for more exciting game play. Also, there is going to be an optional pro controller that can be used instead of the Joy-Con article.

The Nintendo Switch also seems to have much more third-party support than some of Nintendo's past consoles. Below is a list of third-party publishers that announced support for the Nintendo Switch.
