RainFurrest is No More
In the early part of 2017, the board of directors of RainFurrest announced that the RainFurrest convention is going to be closed. They announced on their website that even though the RainFurrest convention is closing, " RAIn will continue to hold Furlandia in Portland, as well as the summer BBQ and the winter holiday party in Seattle." The reason for the convention closing is said to be that they are unable to secure a venue to hold it. This may have been caused in part by the incidents that were rumored to have happened last year with the hotel being damaged by convention attendees.
